Millstone Green is a residential development by Cala Homes.

The five Custom Build homes at Millstone Green are being marketed and coordinated by XERA Innovations Ltd on behalf of Cala.

 

For personal data submitted through this website in relation to Millstone Green enquiries, registrations of interest and the Millstone Green Custom Build homebuyer process, XERA Innovations Ltd and Cala Homes act as joint data controllers. This means both organisations are involved in deciding how this personal data is used for the Millstone Green Custom Build sales process.

 

XERA Innovations Ltd is responsible for managing this website, enquiry handling, registrations of interest, Mailchimp communications and day to day Custom Build homebuyer coordination.

 

Cala Homes is responsible for the Millstone Green development, reservation process, formal sales requirements, appointed advisers and any personal data processed within Cala’s own systems. Cala will process personal data in accordance with its own Customer Privacy Notice 

 

Where you opt in to receive updates about other XERA Custom Build homes, XERA Innovations Ltd acts as the data controller for those marketing communications.

 

You will not be contacted about other XERA Custom Build projects until after 27 July 2027. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

If you proceed towards reservation or purchase, further information may be required by Cala or Cala’s appointed advisers. This may include address details, proof of identity, financial, mortgage, legal, conveyancing, AML, sanctions or other information needed to assess proceedability and complete the reservation or purchase process.

We use your personal data to:

  • Respond to enquiries about Millstone Green

  • Provide information you request

  • Manage registrations of interest and communications

  • Keep you updated about Millstone Green and, where you have opted in, future XERA Custom Build homes. You will not be contacted about other XERA Custom Build projects until after 27 July 2027.

  • Operate and secure the website

  • We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

 

Our lawful basis for processing personal data may include:

  • Legitimate interests, where we respond to enquiries, manage registrations of interest, operate the website and coordinate the Millstone Green Custom Build sales process. Our legitimate interest is to manage enquiries and support the sale of the five Custom Build homes at Millstone Green.

  • Consent, where you opt in to receive marketing communications or agree to non-essential cookies.

  • Steps before entering into a contract or performance of a contract, where you choose to proceed towards reservation or purchase.

  • Legal obligation, where personal data is required for compliance, including AML, sanctions, financial, legal or conveyancing checks carried out by Cala or its appointed third parties.

 

You do not have to provide personal data to browse this website. However, if you do not provide the information requested in the enquiry or registration form, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry or keep you updated about Millstone Green. If you proceed towards reservation or purchase, Cala and its appointed advisers may need further information to complete financial, AML, legal, conveyancing and homebuyer administration checks. Without this information, you may not be able to proceed with a reservation or purchase.

 

4. Who We Share Data With

Personal data submitted through this website is managed by XERA Innovations Ltd using Mailchimp for enquiry handling and email communications.

If you decide to progress to reserving a Custom Build Home, relevant enquiry and personal data may be shared with Cala and Cala’s appointed sales, legal, financial, mortgage, AML, sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons checking and other professional advisers, where needed for proceedability checks, reservation, conveyancing, financial assessment, homebuyer administration and purchase completion.

Cala will process any personal data it receives in accordance with its own Customer Privacy Notice. Questions about Cala’s use of personal data should be directed to Cala at dataprotection@cala.co.uk.

 

Any third parties will process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies or under appropriate data processing arrangements.

 

We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

 

We use trusted service providers who act as data processors, including:

  • Wix.com Ltd for website hosting and forms

  • Mailchimp for email communications

 

Where data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses, in line with UK GDPR requirements.

5. Data Retention & Security

We will retain enquiry, registration and Custom Build homebuyer process data for the duration of the Millstone Green Custom Build sales period.

Once the final Custom Build home at Millstone Green has sold, XERA will retain Millstone Green enquiry, reservation and Custom Build process data for up to 120 days, unless there is a legitimate reason to retain it for longer.

If you have opted in to receive updates about Millstone Green and future XERA Custom Build homes, XERA will retain your contact details in Mailchimp until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. You will not be contacted about other XERA Custom Build projects until after 27 July 2027.

If you proceed to reservation or purchase, Cala and its appointed advisers may retain personal data in line with Cala’s Customer Privacy Notice and any legal, contractual, AML, conveyancing or customer care requirements.

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect your data.
